Council, a letter went out to the Shoreacres Pier Association regarding the condition of the pier. You received the letter via email but I wanted to put it here to allow the public easy access to it and give you the opportunity to discuss it.
Here is the link to the letter: https://www.shoreacrestx.us/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/sra-demand-with-exhibits-031822.pdf
As you will see, the letter went to two people. The first is Mark Gonzales, whom the new board elected as President after the June 26, 2021 election. The second person is David Gerany. As you know, Mr. Gerany was a Director and Treasurer of the board prior to that election and the main contact for the city. Although he is no longer affiliated with the SRA Board, he is listed on the Texas Secretary of State’s corporate entity records as a Director and Treasurer. Because Mr. Gonzales is not listed as a Director, the City Attorney advised that the letter must go to a currently listed Director, thus Mr. Gerany received the letter.
Current Texas Secretary of State information on the SRA:

Unfortunately the mailing address listed for the SRA is a PO Box that apparently is no longer valid. I do not know if Mr. Gonzales received the letter as of today, March 23, 2022. Mr. Gerany has received the letter and sent a reply letter stating that he is no longer affiliated with the SRA.

We will discuss at the next council meeting but you are free to discuss here as well.
