PUBLIC INFORMATION ACT REQUESTS
The Act
The Texas Public Information Act (the “TPIA”) gives the public the right to request access to government information.
The TPIA is triggered when a person submits a written request to the City. The request must ask for information that is already in existence.
Making a Request
The Act does not require the City to create new information, compile data, do legal research, or answer questions. A request may be made in person or sent by fax or email.
Subpoenas
Pursuant to State Law, subpoenas for criminal cases may be served via email. Civil case subpoenas must be served in person.

You may either print and bring the form to Shoreacres City Hall, 601 Shoreacres Blvd, TX 77571, or save it as a PDF file and email it to the City Secretary.
