Warning Signs and Symptoms of Heat-Related Illness

As you know, we are in a period of extreme heat. The Harris County area continues to set records in not only our daily high temperatures but also in our nightly low temperatures, which have been above 80 degrees on for days on end.

Please see the chart below from the CDC about heat related illnesses. Be sure and check on your elderly neighbors, daily if possible. If you see someone in need, call 911 if an emergency, dispatch (281-842-3185) if it is not an emergency but you think that on-site help is needed, or City Hall for non-emergency needs.
